Assassin's Creed: Unity Review

It has been several years since the release of Assassin's Brotherhood on PS3/360. Since then we've seen numerous AC titles come out for various platforms including PC. However, none have had such high hopes as Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag which failed to live up its predecessor in terms of story and gameplay.

Assassins Creed Unity has deep technical issues that have prevented it from truly reaching its full potential. The graphics are stunning but often lag behind what we've seen on current-gen consoles like PS4/Xbox One, especially when there's a lot happening on screen at once – which isn't always easy given how much chaos ensues within medieval Paris during revolution time.

Despite these technical issues however Assassin’s Creed Unity still manages to deliver an engaging experience thanks in large part due largely down its well-designed environments. From the cobblestone streets of old France right through into Notre Dame Cathedral itself - everything feels so immersive that you'll forget for a moment this isn't actually happening before your very eyes.

The controls themselves aren’t bad either; though sometimes they can feel slightly clunky especially during sequences where quick reflexes are required – such as when fighting off hordes of Templar soldiers trying to capture protagonist Armand D'Nayt (I think?).

Overall, Assassin’s Creed Unity is a mixed bag overall. While it has its fair share of problems - mainly due too poor optimization on PC platforms - there's still plenty here worth enjoying if you're willing put up with some minor annoyances along the way.
